Robert Treasure

Robert works across the design, analysis and verification of mechanical equipment and structures, with particular experience in pressure vessels, low-pressure storage tanks, lifting equipment, access systems and amusement rides.

 

His work regularly involves assessing existing designs against engineering requirements, undertaking detailed design analysis and providing independent design verification for plant and equipment.

At Black Square Engineering, Robert undertakes design and analysis of low-pressure storage tanks and access systems, as well as design verification of elevated work platforms and other mechanical equipment.

 

His work combines detailed engineering analysis with an understanding of how equipment is fabricated, installed and used in operational environments.

Robert also has experience undertaking independent third-party engineering analysis on major infrastructure projects. This has included design analysis associated with Brisbane's Cross River Rail project, including engineering assessment of the Albert Street flood barrier system.

His experience across both new designs and independent verification makes him particularly valuable where clients require an engineer to critically assess equipment, confirm the adequacy of an existing design, or identify engineering issues before fabrication, installation or operation.
